Gypsum is a very soft sulfate mineral composed of calcium sulfate dihydrate, with the chemical formula CaSO4·2H2O. It is found in alabaster.

1- calcinated gypsum is about 95 % of gypsum uses that we heat the gypsum to 130 degree which remove water and become hemi hydrated gypsum that called plaster of paris, it used in wall plaster, wall lining, plaster board, wall board, tiles for ceikings, partitions. Thermal isolation, regulator to moisture measurements. 
2- add Uncalcined gypsum crushed from 3 to 6 % to produce Portland cement so solidification speed become low. 
3- gypsum contain 15-20 % sulfur produce ammonium sulfate which act as natural fertilizer. 
4- glass industry to easily remove the gases. 
5- fine gypsum use in resin industry, paper filler, in soil used in drilling petroleum well.

Made from high quality, natural deposits of limestone, and meeting exacting chemical and physical properties, Carmeuse has a broad range of quicklime products that provide high-performance, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly attributes and benefits for a broad range of industrial applications.
The HIGH CALCIUM QUICKLIME is produced from limestone containing over 98% calcium carbonate.
DOLOMITIC QUICKLIME is produced from limestone containing a mixture of both calcium and magnesium carbonates.
Both high calcium quicklime and dolomite quicklime are produced by heating raw limestone deposits in a kiln up to temperatures of 900 degrees. This process is referred to as calcinations process.
The quicklime products are often ground into a fine power referred to as PULVERIZED QUICKLIME that is ideal for mixing with additives or other materials to result in specialized blended composites. Due to the chemical nature of some additives, the quicklime can become “Fluidized,” that is, having properties of being highly fluid. The fluidized quicklime is ideal for use with special material handling systems for optimum flow ability and to avoid clogging.
Quicklime can also be hydrated with water, in a process commonly referred to as slaking, resulting in HYDRATED QUICKLIME (or calcium hydroxide), a dry free flowing powder product that is practical and efficient for many uses.

Calcium hydroxide, traditionally called slaked lime, is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula Ca(OH)2. It is a colorless crystal or white powder and is obtained when calcium oxide (called lime or quicklime) is mixed, or "slaked" with water. It has many names including hydrated lime, builders' lime, slack lime, Choona, cal, or pickling lime. Calcium hydroxide is used in many applications, including food preparation. Limewater is the common name for a saturated solution of calcium hydroxide.
Hydrated Lime is a multi-purpose product and ITL therefore supplies a myriad of clients for a wide range of uses.



USES
  • Hydrated Lime is manufactured for the stabilisation of road surfaces.
  • Hydrated Lime can also be used as a filler in asphalt to improve resistance to high temperature rutting.

Blast Furnace Slag is an industrial by-product for production of pig iron from iron ore in blast furnaces. Molten Slag is cooled and dried by means of granulation so that it can be used as a bonding agent and transformed into the amorphous phase. The product activity of the granulated slag depends on the chemical structure of the amorphous phase, and Granulated Slag, along with cement, behaves as a binder in cement production if it is ground at a fineness of cement. If Granulated Blast Furnace Slag is ground at a fineness of 5000 – 6000 cm2 /g, so becomes a kind of hydraulic binder, then it is called ground granulated slag.



FIELDS OF USE

Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag is used as a mineral additive for concrete production and substitutes for cement. (TS EN 15167-1) Slag cement can be used as the main additive. (TS EN 197-1) Ground granulated blast furnace slag ensures that concrete has the following favorable features when it is used as a mineral additive at particular proportions in concrete. It is used as an additive component in ready-mix concrete, in production of type CEM III Slag cement or other types of blended cement.

Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GBFS) is one of the waste material groups obtained from various metallurgy plants. In production of raw iron, blast furnace slag remains above raw iron due to having less weight and iron ore gangue is composed at a temperature between 1,400 to 1,600 °C after burning of coke and limestone. It is used as an additive component in ready-mix concrete, in production of type CEM III Slag cement or other types of blended cement. It is produced in conformity with the standard TS EN 15167-1.





Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GYFC) has for long years been added as a binder into the Portland Cement as
well as being used as a mineral additive in the concrete or as an additive in the blended cements.
Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GYFC) is one of the most significant environment-friendly materials. Granulated
Blast Furnace Slag (GYFC) emerges as a byproduct of the iron-steel industry.
If GYFC is ground to a fineness value of 5.000 Blaine, the concretes produced with GYFC achieve the early
strength of the concretes produced with CEM I type cement.
